Mavka: The Forest Song Full Movie Review:
To begin, I would like to state that I am not Ukrainian, that I am not from there, and that I do not have any children. As a result, unlike many of the other reviews that have been written so far, my review is solely from an outsider’s perspective.
Funny thing is that the poster for this movie was all I knew about it. I looked up the trailer because I adore all things green and nature. In many ways, it reminded me a lot of my favorite Disney movie, “Tangled.” I made the decision to watch it. I had no idea what the story was or what culture it was based on. I just thought ‘Forest theme = Yes’ and ‘Tangled Vibes = Yes’. Additionally, I must admit that I truly enjoyed this movie.
